Content Review

The Content Review milestone is when we ensure the creator’s final content matches the creator brief prior to going live. This step gives us the chance to collaborate, fine-tune the details, and ensure everything aligns with the campaign objectives and brand guidelines. It’s all about reviewing the content before it goes live to make sure it’s ready to deliver the results we’re aiming for.

Getting started

1. Log into Resonate—our technology platform

You will have received an email invite to set up an account in Resonate. Use your Resonate email & password to log in.

2. Select your campaign

Click Campaigns in the top navigation then select the corresponding campaign.

Once the campaign is selected, click Content Review in the campaign’s top navigation.

3. View your role & workflow status

Your Role in your step is found in the top right corner of the page. Roles available are:

  1. Approver (max 1 per step): Communicates final decisions to Linqia on behalf of all Reviewers in a step.
  2. Reviewer(s): Can provide feedback and is expected to submit their review.
  3. Spectator(s): Has visibility into the process but is not expected to provide feedback.

Click Workflow Status to view the milestone’s status, all active and inactive review steps, and all individual’s roles. You can continue reviewing if any content is active in your step.

Start reviewing

Check where the content is in the status menu on the left hand side of the screen.

  1. In Review: Surfaces content that needs your or anyone in your step’s review.
  2. Pending: Any content that your step has already reviewed—now the content is either with Linqia or another step.
  3. Ready to Publish: Shows the approved &  finalized versions of all posts (i.e., the content that influencers will post).
  4. Published: All content that creators have posted.

Review content

All team members in your step can simultaneously review content in the In Review folder. Each deliverable is represented by an individual card, showing the creator's handle, post type, and persona (if assigned). The persona should correspond to the relevant sections in the brief. Make sure to review each piece of content against the finalized brief.

Click on a card to view any feedback that may have already been left by others in your step.

Provide feedback

Follow these steps to submit your feedback or request changes. Creators won’t see your feedback directly—Linqia will handle sharing it with the creators on your behalf!

For images/videos

  1. Hover over the image or video.
  2. Click Comment to leave feedback, or Suggest Replacement to choose a new option from the left panel.

For captions

  1. Highlight the text.
  2. Click Comment to leave feedback, or Suggest Replacement to propose new text.

Save your feedback

Click Post to confirm and save your feedback. Remember, members in your step will have visibility to your feedback once saved!

Edit or delete feedback

To edit or delete your feedback, click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the comment box.

Please note: Feedback left in a workflow step is only visible to members in that step. This gives you the ability to engage in dialogue within your step. The Approver in your step must confirm or ignore feedback, ensuring consensus before moving to the next step.

Reviewers submitting review

If your role is a Reviewer, follow these steps to submit your review:

  1. Complete your review for each post, leaving feedback if necessary.
  2. Click the blue Submit Review button at the bottom of the content. This lets other members in your step know that you have concluded your review.

The Approver in your step can either confirm or ignore any feedback left by reviewers. If feedback is confirmed, they will decide whether the content should be sent back for further review or approved with the feedback applied. If all feedback is ignored and no open feedback remains, the Approver will approve the post as is.

Approver submitting review

If your role is the Approver, it's best practice to wait for all Reviewers to submit their reviews before clicking Submit Review. This ensures you can review all feedback and make informed decisions. Clicking Submit Review will either move the post to the next step or return it to Linqia with clear directions.

Review feedback

  1. Comments from other members in your step will appear in the right-hand margin under Open Feedback.
  2. Comments resolved by Linqia are found in All Feedback.
  3. As the Approver, you must click Confirm or Ignore on each comment from Reviewers, providing final feedback direction to Linqia.

Submit your review

After addressing feedback, click Submit Review on each card.

You’ll then choose one of the following options if there’s still open feedback:

  • Approved, Pending Edits
  • Revise & Resubmit

These options determine whether you want the content to return to your step for further review or be considered approved and moved forward.

If there is no open feedback, confirm that the content is Approved. This will either route it to the next step or, if you’re in the final step, move it to the Finalized folder, where it will be visible to both Linqia and the creator.

Success, you’re finished!

Once content has moved through each step, Linqia will review any open feedback and incorporate changes as needed before finalizing. Once Finalized, the approved content will be visible to creators, allowing them to post it when the organic campaign launches.
